Christine and the Poisoned Apple

I’m really happy that Christine and the Poisoned Apple (2017) is now part of the collection of the Hillingdon Museum and Archives (Christine Keeler was born at Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge in 1942). In the portrait, Christine looks down with hurt as she is handed an apple labelled ‘whore’.

The painting will also be shown as part of an exhibition looking at scandals in the borough, which they’re planning for next year. The collections officer for the museum thinks it will make for an interesting focal point for discussion. I can now say, very happily, that I represent Christine Keeler in five public collections.
